• Lord Nelson was moved from its
Old Oak Common base in London back up to the National
Railway Museum in York by road on Wednesday 31st October
and Thursday 1st November for further investigation on
its boiler and for static display whilst this process
continues.
850 is planned to be displayed in
the main hall on the turntable and will be on display
until the new year when boiler repairs are hopefully set
to commence depending on the findings of the
investigation. Findings and any news on this subject
will be released in due course.
